- What is a 4.0 scale GPA?
- The most common U.S. system: A = 4.0, B = 3.0, C = 2.0, D = 1.0, F = 0, with plus/minus modifiers stepping by 0.3 (A− = 3.7, B+ = 3.3). Your GPA is the credit-weighted average of those points.
- Is an A+ worth 4.3 on the 4.0 scale?
- At most schools, no — A+ is capped at 4.0. The notable exception is LSAC's law-school scale, which awards 4.33 for A+. Use the LSAC calculator on this site if you're applying to law school.
- How do I convert a percentage grade to the 4.0 scale?
